Since getting my XT660R, I have constantly battled with elevating the rear wheel for chain lube, maintenance etc. I have obviously not fitted a centre stand.
I mostly lift the bike onto my enduro stand but then it sits on the bash plate below the exhausts and because it is so low, it is a mission to get it on and isnt very stable.
I have considered getting a paddock stand but after chatting to the guys at Bike Tyre Wearhouse, wont fit without modifying the stand, and then only a front paddock stand might work.
What methods do you guys use that is strong and stable?
