Hi all. Been riding my klr for 60 000+ happy-km. Recently, I've noticed some green blood stains from time to time in my garage and at my work parking lot. So I thought, there must be an ailing monster somewhere 
Yesterday I removed the belly plate and cleaned the whole engine with a rag. After leaving the bike parked for a while I found the hole where I suspect the coolant comes from.
Basically, the coolant pump has a hole (about 2mm) perfectly drilled out and facing down.
Does anyone here know what this hole is for? Is it for draining the engine jacket during overhaul-shouldn't it have a plug then?
