Excell rim & spokes??

Hi fellas I just need some advice please? I want to order a front excell rim for my KTM 530 XC-W 2009 but I only need the outside ring(rim). My original spokes and inner hub are 100% fine still so I don't need to buy them ass well. I have spoken to someone who told me that I need to buy the excell spokes to because the original spokes won't fit in the excell rim for they are to thin,small etc.

Is there's someone who recently maybe purchased an excell rim? I would appreciate some advice?
