So there seems to be a common thought or trend that when one buys a bike you must upgrade everything .
When I bought my KLR years back I upgraded the springs front and back , changed to location of the choke etc etc
So why is it that bikes get brought out on the bare minimum that suddenly can only be made 'better' with costly upgrades ?
Is it just a perception by wanna be god riders , a compensation for a lack of skill or bike manufacturers cutting corners that need to be compensated for ?
I just saw a thead for a for sale bike that claims to have 50k in upgrades - WTF shouldn't one rather buy a bike that is close to what you want ?
