My one F4 unit has given up the gohst - it appears that the wiring system (mic and speakers) has clocked out - module still works on the other one's mic and speaker set. I have always had my doubt about the "waterproof"connection system as it is small to grab hold properly if you do not want to wiggle loose the connection, but pull it out striaght. The plug is difficult to dislodge because it appears to seal real well. It now looks like the wiring of the speaker and mike set must have failed (or the connection), although their is no physical damage visible anywhere on the wireing - I have always handled these things with care. Bike2Bike has new, improved "headset" units available at a price off course. I tend to think that this could qualify as a latent defect, has any one had the same problem and if so does the new improved mic and speaker set been OK?
