So after reading on the ABS = suicide on off road I decided to see if the switch works. After doing a fair bit of google search and Manual reading I found the ritual to go trough to kill the ABS.
But on attempting the so called ritual, nothing. ABS was still on, google some more, no joy. So I took appart the switch assembly.
There are two wires running from the switch, a black one and I think a off white one (Black in the middle the other one on the other side)
As I removed the assembly, I noted that one of the wires came loose. So today it is me, solder iron and some work to fix that wire. So make sure you can kill the ABS before your next trip, if not, check the wires.
