Evening all
So, did a little 3 day tour and about 50km from home I swerve out to miss a donga in the road that I spotted too late. Ended up on the shoulder of the road and heard a loud clank noise. Bike cuts out and that was it. Can't get the thing going again. All previous starts were 100%.
First thought was the side stand switch. All seems fine down there. Fuses ok. Tried to do the throttle reset trick. Disconnected the battery for 30 minutes, still nothing.
It seems to skip a few things on the pre start sequence. Firstly, the coolant temp light doesn't come on and no buzzing from the pump. Can't remember now, does the rev needle go all the way up and back to zero as well during the start sequence? If yes, it's not doing that either. Neutral and oil light do come on.
Anyone with some suggestions as to what it could be?
