Fresh off the boat. New bike. Keen to ride. Who's in?

Hi! I just flew in from Australia and I picked up my new (to me) 690 yesterday. I'm looking to do a little shakeout ride to get a feel for how I want to set up the bike for my RTW trip. I'm based out of Cape Town at the moment and have absolutely no idea where to ride but I'm open to suggestions. So, if anyone is keen as for a little day mission or an overnighter let me know!!!!!!!
