So been doing some maint on the old girl over the weekend. Needed a new fuel filter kit so got the tank off to do the job.... takes longer to get all the bodywork and crash-bars off than to do the actual filter change! The glovebox quick release from Z Adventure is going to make this a breeze in future... much like the oil tank drain hose when it comes to oil changes. 
Noticed a bit of an oil leak while at it as well as the fuel line chaffing on the frame... sorted the chaffing but will have Runner check the oil leak when she goes for valve check this week. No surprise again as this is the 2nd time the original KTM teabag filter had to be reamed to fit over the orifice of the pump..... frustrating but a quick fix at least with a slow and steady hand. Just make sure the electrical connections go back as they came out, take pic to avoid doing this job twice!
Top tip! Do not rotate the o'rings when refitting the pump, they just pop out and can get damaged. Like anything tight, lube is your friend, so some silicone paste and a gentle squeeze is all it takes to get the pump back in.
Should run sweet again for next 20,000km~ An easy job, and well worth the effort. Fired up immediately with no fuel leaks, so job done!
