So I had a normal fuel filter fitted on my 1981 Honda CB 750k a while ago.It was fitted between the petcock and the carbs.
It was a cheap filter...I believe meant for cars..lol
Anyways..someone told me those filters are meant for when there is a fuel pump..which my bike doesn't have.
The bike's fuel is a gravity feed system..and therefore the filter may cause fuel not to flow to carbs as it should..
Shud I remove the filter?
There shud b a filter in the tank..but I havnt checked yet.
Also a little worried about the fuel quality nowadays..
I also havnt experencied any issues with the filter fitted.
