Gaerne boots - Who Sells them? Are they worth getting?

Who sells Gaerne boots in Cape Town? 

Is it worth getting Gaerne GX1 boots for gravel or are they a bit of an over kill?  I went into Suzuki South and the sales man showed me a pair of touring boots that he thought were more suitable for the type of riding I do.  I have not tried Gaerne GX1 yet but I'm not sure I could walk very far in them if I had to (but I also like the idea of being able to walk after an off).  Any advice?
