Has anyone fitted Givi crashbars to their 800 Tiger's? (Not XC)
I tried to help a friend fit his, but it seems impossible. Where the bars fit at the right foot peg, something is not right.
There is an insert between the frame and the motor that can be adjusted to get the frame tight with the motor. I suspect this is where the bars must slide in, but it would be impossible to remove that insert without removing the motor. If the bars do fit in there, they might push against the engine casing as well.
If you attach it on the outside of the frame, the whole angle is wrong and the brake pedal can't fit.
