I have finally decided to get a bike again. Yamaha Tenere which should be delivered on Tues or Wed. I cannot wait to get back in the saddle. Looking forward to a steep learing curve and loads of fun. I used to ride on the farm when I was younger, started on a Honda MT5 and progressed to a Yamaha XT 250, what a solid old bomb. Since leaving school and the farm I guess I got caught in the rat race, now 16yrs later I am feeling as excited as I was about going on my maiden ride on the MT5. Living in Port Alfred (Kowie) we are at the gateway to an amazing number of interesting routes, with the old Ciskie just up the road, Baviaans down the road and a heap of adventure in between.
