Gents,
I suspect a Throttle Position Sensor issue on my 2015 R1200 GS Adventure.
When coming up to a traffic light with clutch in the engine suddenly stalls or goes to slow idle.
If the light turns green before coming to a stop and you want to accelerate away, the engine is stalled or stuck in idle.
Very dangerous as I've had to start very quickly in traffic conditions.
To prevent this I have to blip the throttle and keep revs up.
I suspect (going to test today) that it happens in Road mode and not in Dynamic. On a long ride yesterday there was definately less vibration in Dynamic.
Anyone in Joburg (preferably West Rand) that has a GS 911 and knows their way around it that can assist?
Thanks in advance
