Hard Luggage

Hey Guys,
I use Bacbones soft luggage, but am considering Trax panniers for number of reasons(weight placement,waterproofness,ease of use and capacity). What is the consensus out there? Are these fairly robust panniers? They look better than other makes - in my opinion. The cost is also reasonable - compared to BMW/Krauser etc. I'd appreciate some comments on the system - as opposed to soft versus hard.
