I'm looking around for a luggage solution for my 1100GS.

I need enough packing space for 2  (0.5 for me, 1.5 for my girlfriend  ;D )  travelling for 4-5 days (no camping planned for this trip, though).

Aluminium Panniers at this stage just seems like a very expensive solution.  Also, I'm a bit worried about damage to the mountings in the event of going down - not that I'm planning to, but one never knows.

I've found these bags  (45litre, 28x28x62cm) for under R200 each and it's claimed to be waterproof and quite tough:  https://www.kreature.co.za/outdoor-camping-equipment-gear-shop/bags-backpacks/gear-bags/OGO256.htm    (hope it's OK to post this?)

Maybe combine two of these bags at the sides with a large top-box (2-helmet space) at the back.

Any ideas / suggestions?
