Wife (pillion) and I looking for gravel highway type roads. We will be alone, so I do not want to be too brave!
I plotted some routes, but do not know the area so would like some input on condition of the roads, possible alternatives and where to overnight (B&B, not camping)
Day 1 ( 380km)
Kimberley - Hopetown - Potfontein - De Aar - Richmond. Alternatively also considering Orania, Petrusville, Philipstown
Day 2 (390km)
Richmond - Murraysburg - Rietbron - De Rust.
Day 3 we will most likely just take R62 home.
Would appreciate your comments.
