I was involved in a collision on sunday 22/11 when a car made a uturn in front of me. there was a lot of cosmetic damage to my bike but insurance are now adamant that they will write it off due to value. I can repair it all on my own but need to know if I can heat and straighten the rear brake pedal without compromising its strength. The bike is an Africa Twin rd07
