Hi guys - getting a 2009 KLR this Wednesday and I cannot stop grinning...I think I am starting to look like the village idiot or a habitual drug user. ;D
The deal is done and very happy with the deal, so is the previous owner I think. So his answers will not affect the price.
But what questions would you ask? And what is the first things to check? Will probably take it to Le Cap at some point for a full check out as he seems to be the man with the knowledge down here - and helpfull to boot (and if he reads this, do you do something like an in depth AA check and just make sure all klr problems are sorted - cost, time?)
When was the last service?
Has the doo been done?
What modifications have been made?
Check the overflow in the oill filter.
Anything else you wished you asked the owner before riding off into the sunset?
