I have been toying with the idea of upgrading my Head unit in my bakkie for a while now.
I would like something that has Android Auto, but I also dont want to break the bank.
Random searches have returned many different units, some good known brands, Sony, Pioneer etc, and many no name brands at super cheap prices.
Now I dont really see the need for a Kenwood, Sony or other popular branded units, its basically a unit to stream to. But I also dont want to buy a piece of Sh1t.
Who has upgraded to the Android Auto route? What did you get?
Just for context, I dont have the std unit, years ago when I bought her second hand, I put in a Double DIN unit that I bought from Stop Shop, budget unit, but it has GPS (not that it works so nice) DVD, TV Tuner, Radio, Bluetooth. These days I only ever use the Bluetooth.
