Triumph 900 Scrambler
2002 model, approximately 65 000km.

UPGRADES/EXTRAS:

Screen deflector, Barkbusters, Bar risers, Kaoko throttle control, Crashbars, Cruiser pegs, Rider and Pillion off-road pegs, Mosfet regulator, Back schock upgraded by Superfoxi, Soft luggage rack and pannier brackets, Tool/Spares tube, 12 volt socket, Toolkit, Centrestand, New back tyre, Front tyre 65%, New chain and sprockets(16/46), Custom Pillion seat, Sheepskin seat cover.

I've had the bike for four years, commuted some with it, tripped and toured a lot with it with wify on the back. Many happy and safe kilo's.

The bike has been well used, but not abused. I get 12 000km out of a back tyre and 18 000 out the front(T63). The bike is nine years old and shows the general cosmetic wear you would expect, worst is a faint scratch on the tank.Fuel consumption 18-22km/l depending on riding coditions.

Mechanicly the bike is solid and has been well maintained. AT's generally require a top-end overhaul between 130 000 and 150 000km's. On 34 000km it broke a tooth on fourth gear. It is an expensive excercise to open and work on these engines so at the time I had the top end done as well. The idea being that I would not again have to open the engin in the time I intended having the bike. The engine was completely stripped to determine if broken gear pieces had done any damage. None was detected and the tooth, that had broken cleanly, was found in the sump.  All work was done by qualified Honda mechanics. Job cards and invoices are available on request. The broken gear was sent to specialists to examine and the conclusion was that shit happens.

TO DO: A service and replace the back wheel bearing. That is all I'm aware of. Had I kept the bike longer I would have had SF upgrade the front suspension and fit a facet fuel pump. Just a personal preference.

So here it is. I offer you a good bike at a reasonable price.
