Hi there bikers and bike builders..

I would like to kindly request some expert advice and or comments plse?

I am concidering to buy what seems to be a pretty good specimen of a '81 Honda CB750.

Apparantly still running very well (mchanically good), just a battery or altenator issue...will c when I get there..lol. Bike looks pretty good on the pics the oke sent me...quite a few of them from all angles..and the price is pretty good as well.

It seems these bikes were the benchmark in the 80's...with apparantly brilliant handling and power. It seems the gearboxes of Honda is bullet proof..and that parts are still available to this day?

Nice bike to convert to a Cafe Racer or even a street tracker...

Is all of the above true?
Are they easy to work on...and or fix things yourselve? (I am no mechanic..but also dont have ten thumbs.lol....and do enjoy doing most things myself...but also not a full workshop with all sorts of tools)

Any comments plse guys?
Any other things to specifically look out for on these bikes..or in general?

Thanx a mill!  8)
