Need some advice if you please. I ride a BMW Dakar and may need to drag it through a river.
Going on a trip through Botswana & Zimbabwe shortly and there's a real chance we may need to cross a river too deep to ride through. Thought I'd tie a rope to the front and simply drag it through trying to hold it upright but been warned about getting water into the cylinder head.
My question ... assuming the above scenario transpires, how do I need to prepare my bike if it will be submerged deeper than say knee height, perhaps even deeper?
