How to fix a warped Side Cover?

I am in need of some assistance.

How can I get a warped Side Cover back into shape. It seems the previous owner had the exhaust run too close to the r/side cover. It is now a bit warped and I would like to get it back into shape or as close to as possible.

Will a heat gun work? ???
