Installing LED spots on a bike with incandescent H4 globes is easy: hook them up to the plug powering the H4 lamp, and when hi beam is activated, spots work!
But how do you get aftermarket spots to work on a canbus activated LED light system as in the new R1200GS LC? The good old "find 12V positive and solder the wire" just don't work any more. You can of course bypass the canbus system by running spots off the battery via a handlebar switch, but then you lose OEM control over lights.
