OK, My bike is now close to the "condition" I want it to be.
The cat has been removed and some "internals" adjusted on the standard pipe by the previous owner. The bike sound nice, but there are HP's that have even more of a "throaty grunt" than mine. (I recall a HP at this years Knysna MTB race that send shivers down my spine--not in a noisy KTM kind of way. More like "I am the king of the lion pack and pxss- of or shut up kind of way.. (I am getting carried away again...)
What seems to work for you guys? What type of slip on gives a nice grunt? - This is of course one of those totally unnessary "mods" but I am giving it more thought every day!
I would prefer not to change the headers as I would like to make the bike standard again if the need arise in future.
Is it worthwhile?........
