I have always wondered what makes the Dark Side, the Dark Side. Why to KTM riders always ride like absolute hooligans???
I recently opted to purchase a skelm, in the form of a KTM 690 Enduro, in a bid to try some more technicalriding low flying.
Having taken the bike away for a weekend to Marico Oog, I can now fully appreciate and understand why KTM riders are always riding so damn fast. It must be because the engineering team who designed the bike did not put more than 3 seconds into the ergonomics of the seat. Have never has such a sore arse in all my life. It was unbearable.
All the Dark Side really means now is racing from A to B at top speed, trying to outrun the inevitable SBS (sore bum syndrome).
