Yesterday I updated my insurance.
When we got to the bike the lady told me that the retail value on a 2008 GS is R 61 000,00.
I do not question the "book" value - but it surely does not make sense ??
I told her if she can get me any 2008 GS with less than 20 000 km on the clock in a good condition at that price I will buy them all.
I made up my own value at R 88 000,00 which I think is more or less ballpark - BUT what now if there is a claim ??
I am pretty sure there will be a big fight with regards to their retail price and my assumed value ??
