So i took the plunge - resigned from work and May is the month for traveling the Karoo on the Beemer. August is another trip but that with the family and Land Cruiser with the Echo Kavango to Angola and the Kaokoveld!
For the Karoo trip, I almost purposefully plan not to do to much planning and will see where the road leads me. Don't want to camp so will be staying in accommodation such as budget b+b's and Backpackers. Lenght of the trip? Don't know for sure but somewhere between 10 and 20 days.
As my thinking about the trip evolves, I will share it but please, if you have sugestions of special places to visit, roads to take, roads to avoid, where to go or where to stay, please post it here?
A the moment I am solo but it does'nt have to be solo all the way. So, if anyone is keen to meet me somewhere on the trip, please feel free...............
