Jo Burg to Europe trip ,any good mapping and GPS suggestions

I am doing a trip next year from Jo'Burg up to Europe and looking for navigation,I had a Zumo 500 last trip inAfrica but it shit itself ,can someone suggest a cheap ass set up for maps and a reliable low cost GPS ,Had 2  Garmin's in the past and both shit themselves,I will be on a ct 110 Honda
