Been a bit of a lurker for ages..........
I am trying to draw a comparison between these 2 bikes.
I will possibly be in the market for a change in bike.
I would like something that can handle the daily (±8km each way) commute, can be used Offroad to explore and the occasional jaunt around the Peninsula. In my spare time I would rather be Off the Road than on it !
I will also be carrying a Pax (Mrs Cota 350 - somewhat less pear shaped than me) when doing the Peninsula Runs. I would also like to teach her to ride it.
I use an old TDM 850 twin Yammy at the moment - a rather tired 92 version which is showing its age - too much of a heavy beast for off the road (or I am too old).
Any suggestions or ideas?
I have been riding most of my adult life - a lot of it has on small 250 foot ups bikes
