I have bought a 2003 KDX200 for my 12 year old son.
Yes i know a bit to big for him, but the aim is to work together on the bike and get it ready from about age 14. Could be sooner, depends on his growth rate i guess hehe
Work on the bike will only be done when he is available. and he will pay for half of everything, parts whatever.
Bike is in a horrendous condition. So there is a lot to do, luckily we have time. But money not so much.
Any how, it does have a fmf gnarly header but with the standard silencer.
Is there someone who maybe has a busted silencer that i might buy over or something and repair. any assistance would be appreciated. (the laaitie cannot sleep and i think he is telling everyone that he just bought a 200 2 stroke. He gave half the buying price from money he saved. That was the deal.
I will have to make a list but at this stage it looks like a total rebuild. Still trying to get the motor to run. If that is ok half the job is done.
