I have just been asked by a colleague:
• May you have more that one pillion under South African law? I.e. more than two on the bike at any given time
• Is there any regulation that relates to helmet size for children?
The story behind the question is that he has seen a father transporting two small children in traffic, grade one and grade two, on the back of a BM on the daily school run. Also both kids were wearing adult helmets.
