I have a 1991 KLE500 and won't start when cold.
Had this problem for about 3 weeks now, changed plugs, tested battery and changed brushes on starter.
The bike has about 54000km on the clock and I'm going for a valve set and carb service plus synchronization on saturday.
Sunday the bike would not know anything about starting. Pushed up a hill :angry5: and run start in 2nd, started and after that the bike starts but not with the choke, only throttle.
Could this be due to valves to tight? Kawasaki said it's only plugs that need changin', been there done that and if the experts don't know then how am I supposed to know?
Please someone help me! I am about to go through the roof and need my bike fixed for the eagles rally and most impotant the CABC :ricky: !!!!!!!!!!
