My 2006 KLR took a tumble about a year ago. It was before I fitted my crashbars so the radiator took a pretty bad knock. Luckily a pressure test showed no leaks, but it is a little buckled.
As a result the shrouds do not fit well on their standard mounts and I have therefore moved to cable ties. This has just compounded into other problems.
I therefore would just like to replace the radiator with good second hand unit (new is about R6.5k
). Not to sure if the car radiator manufactuerers are able to make up a replacement? I know the KLR radiator is alu and most cars do not use alu radiators?
