I tried to replace my doohickey last night and hit a BIG snag. Rotor bolt came out relatively easy. However, lifting the rotor with the puller turned out to be a problem. The rotor just didn't want to break free; now I have an even bigger problem - the thread on either the rotor puller or the rotor stripped. Now I cannot get it out (just turns in place.) And the rotor is still stuck.

I know some guys have difficulty gettting the rotor out but this is the only time I know off where the threads actually stripped. (What is worse is that it is not my puller: I borrowed Groenie's...)

Any ideas how I can remove the puller (or the rotor for that matter)?
