My 08 KLR steering bearing has a ridge in it (according to the local mec). I have been told that the stealership makes you pay big for replacements. (waiting for a quote) I have been advised that a fix is to sandpaper it smooth. However reliabilty is important for me and not so keen on this idea.
Does anybody knows about good qualty aftermarket bearings that will do the trick ???
