After reading the April version of Top Bike, specifically the article about the two chaps doing the Cape to London, i read something i never though about. Where better to ask for clarity than here.
One of the reasons they chose the 950 was because it uses duel carburator and not fuel injection as the 990 does.
Is this a major factor in choosing a bike for a trip of this magnitude ?
How difficult is it to fix fuel injection compared to carburator at the side of the road ?
If you had the choice, 990 or 950 for a trip like this ?
If i got any specs wrong, sorry, i havent researched the katooms that much.
