Hey Guys.
Doing a trip to Nam this coming Thursday and doing some final checks on my bike and one of them was to replace the front wheel bearings. After which I noticed that there was some play on my front wheel, the joys of doing your own bike maintenance you discover things the mechanics missed. If I grab it with both hands I can move the wheel between the forks about a mm or so. So basically my diagnoses and KTM CTN agrees that the shoulder of the axle (right hand side in driving direction) is worn and could have been as a result of a ceased bearing being ridden on in the past, not by me as the bike was bought like this.
KTM does not have stock of a front axle in CTN or JHB
My question is will it be dangerous to ride the bike to Nam and back with a front wheel that has this type of play on it?
