Okay, Maybe this has been covered but couldn't find anything, here goes:
I have a 2008 KTM 990S adv, 52000km. Under acceleration at almost wide open throttle or close to it and at higher rpm the bike cuts out and goes and cuts out and goes, feels like a limiter almost that would come in for a millisecond and then acceleration would be fine again for another 500rpm before the same happens. Between like 6500 rpm and redline this would happen for instance 5 times while moving through that rev range under hard acceleration. Normal chilled riding it behaves perfectly, idling maybe maybe a bit rough.
I had ultimate performance ktm in centurion put in a new fuel filter kit which has made it a bit better but it's still there. Whats next?
plug leads?
Fuel pump? (I do not want to spend R7000 on a ktm replacement pump)
How do I check the fuel pump?
