I have been a BMW supporter the last 5 years owning both a GS1200 & GSA and loved the bike's.I recently decided that I wanted something more "offroad" and lighter so considered GS800 & HP2, never KTM.
I by accident test rode a KTM990 owned by one of my clients, and man did she put a grin on my face (bike not client ;D)
Just awesome feeling when riding that you cannot explain until ridden! I am now looking for one seriously hard.I now understand some of the statements made by KTM owners about the soul of the beast!
I still love the GS1200, but for thrill factor I am now taken by the Darkside!
Also, the KTM guy's have been great with assistance in questions and finding a bike. :thumleft:
