Trumpet
Pack Dog
My son's KX 65 has me perplexed.
After riding in wet conditions - eg: lots of puddles on the mx track his gearbox oil shows a nice "milky" colour.
I can't find where the water is coming in!!
Only ever happens when he rides through lots of puddles etc. on the track, & is almost instantaneous - 2 laps of the track & there is water in the gearbox. After a day of riding there can be as much as a litre of water in the gearbox! (normal oil fill is 500 mls)
When conditions are dry there is no problem, so it can't be the water pump seal - I've checked & there is no oil in the radiator.
I've re-routed ALL the breather hoses into the airbox as I though it may be the crankcase breather sucking the water in - not.
Any ideas/thoughts?
