I spotted some dirt tracks from the air on Tuesday so gave a few mates a call and the ride was on.
We met in Waterfall at 05h30 am.
Lamo - 1200 GSA
Brenden - GS 800
777 - 690 KTM
Josh - 950 KTM
Tim - GS 650
Myself and Mrs Badger on the GSA
We took a nice little cruise on the tar down to Inanda Dam and crossed the bridge at the top and heade north over hills and through a couple of valleys. Came across the R614 and headed to the Wartburg Hof for breakfast.
We then headed south towards Nagel Dam and picked up a lovely dirt road down to the Inanda river and some great single path abd granite rock riding. We popped out in Bothas Hill and said cheers to all.
It was cooking down in the valleys. At one stage my therm was on 33 deg and very humid. We had all sorts of terrain during the ride from good hard pack roads to very soft powder like dust roads, a few watercrossings, quite a few nice climbs, footpaths and some fast sections.
All in all it was a fun day for all with everyone getting ' riga naughtis' every noow and then. There where no punctures and only Josh had a small tussle with a rut.
Fran, thanks for the great pics as usual.............You are a LEGEND.
I will let the pics speak for themselves.
Thanks to everyone for all the sports, laughs and a lekker ride. :thumleft:
