Lamo(Gsa), Mr G(Xr 650), Harry(Gs 800), Bushcat(690) and myself(Gsa) decided to do a technical ride on the public holiday.
We left Waterfall at around 08h00 with Mr G leading and dropped into the valley of a thousand hills and skirted Inanda dam and took a zigzag route with parts of the pipeline tracks as well as some plastic bike sections.
There were a number of oops's but nothing serious. We ended up at Albert Falls and had a lekker lunch at Bushcats folks's place called the Amble Inn.
I then led the return trip and popped out at the Lion Park and crossed the N3 and took the railway line back to Hammersdale and then Botha's hill road back into Hillcrest.
270 km's and approx 8 hrs in the saddle.
Just what the doc ordered. Thanks Everyone :thumleft:
