I would like to know if any of the WD know what the law is with regards to me driving with my son who has just got his learners licence and I am over the legal alcohol limit as the only passanger in the car. I have been told by a mate that I need to be under the limit or they can arrest me. My son is medically not allowed to drink so I have now a personal chauffeur, no doubt it will cost me but at least it better than being locked up! I want to go to Killarney on Saturday to watch regional bike racing and normally watch how many beers I drink and stay within the legal limit. I am now hoping that I can have more and my son can drive me home. I am sure that someone will know the answer. Look foreward to hearing from you all.
