Big Trailie Ride To Val: Sunday 14th August
We have had stacks of requests from people to host another big trailie ride – so this one is for all the guys and gals on the KLR’s, KLE’s, GS’, XT’s Transalps, V-stroms, Adventures etc - the slightly bigger dual purpose machines.
We will meet at a venue on the East Rand for coffee and muffins – hop on the bikes for a trip of just over 100 kays 1 way to the bustling metropolis of Val for a lekker Sunday lunch…
The route is interesting and varies from fast sweeping roads, to twee spoor padtjies through some really scenic areas. This is not a super technical ride – but it is fun – with some more interesting routes for the guys and gals who like the more challenging stuff. There are escape routes all the way along, so you can hop on to the tar when you’ve had enough dust.
The route will be marked – so you can ride at your own pace – and we’ll have marshals all along the route to assist, take photo’s etc. We’ll also send along a backup vehicle or two – and we’ll have a qualified paramedic in attendance for the day – who also happens to be a pretty good mechanic...
The guys from Dirt and Trail magazine will be along taking photies – so it should be a lekker day out. Non riders are welcome to come for a lekker drive out in the country and join us for lunch – call Anette at our offices for pricing and details.
Costs: R280pp - Includes, coffee and muffins in the morning. A cold drink break at the halfway point and a slap up lunch – lekker boerekos with lots of veggies, salads etc…
