My cousin and I are heading to Lesotho from Johannesburg in 2 weeks. We've got 4 days to get to Sani Pass and then plan to ride back via Geluksberg and plan to camp on the 2nd and 3rd nights so will likely meander around Katse and Mohale dams and get some flyfishing in...
The issue is accommodation on night 1. We aim to get into Lesotho on day 1, but accommodation at either Maliba Lodge or New Oxbow is rather pricey at R630 (they kindly offered for us to share a double bed for R480 each...??!!! :imaposer: NOT happening !! ) and R480 per person respectively.
Can anyone recommend more affordable accommodation (b&b or db&b) inside Lesotho within an hour or so of Butha-Buthe or do we just need to bite the bullet?
