So. Off I went to book for my bike Licence test today, time to get fully legal. First test date available at Bellville is 30 September. Small problem, my learner's expires on the 19th , and there is nothing at all available earlier.
OK, so plan B. Can I book to do another learner's Licence test, for around the 19th ??
It turns out that you can't! You have to wait until your learner's has actually expired before you can book for another one. E-natis will not allow a booking for a Licence test for a class of Licence that you already have. Of course then you have the two or more month wait to get the first appointment. Sheesh. Screwed.
So , it looks like I am going to have to try some one of the outlying towns , Malmesbury , Paarl? Any suggestions welcomed...
