Over last few weeks ive noticed the clutch is taking on the end of clutch lever, maybe riding other bike more regular in last few weeks also confused the system. Adjusted the clutch a few turns on thread where it was a little slack but it was still taking on the end so i adjusted just about 80% of thread length and its now taking about 25mm from handle bar which is perfect. My 2012 Gs has only done 62000 km of which 80% is highway travel- is this clutch worn- surely it cannot be or the cable as well. No hooligan moves done just regular good riding with constant oil changes. Clutch has never slipped a bit and i tested it now as well- all good
