looking for some advice.. Tyres! F650GS (single)

I have a 3 day trip coming up in two weeks... West Coast ... loads of soft sand...

My 2007 F650GS currently have the following tyres on:
Rear: Sirac
Front: Anakee

I'm happy with the rear(new and relatively knobbly like) the front  Anakee is another story (also new but very road like)...

I already had one wash-out in the front with the anakee (attempting to ride out of a rut and the front just wash-out)

I'm thinking of only putting a more knobbly like tyre in the front for the West coast trip and keep the rear Sirac.

A suggestions or comments? and what tyre?
